🍁🍂When we stop hustling to DO, we find peace to simply BE. 🫶🏻 Throw back to last weekend & the beautiful day we had together at the annual Move Into Stillness Fall Yoga Retreat!!🧘🏻♀️🌲🍂There’s a special kind of magic that happens when women gather to share in community, nourishment, and wellbeing. That magic fills the heart & mind, allowing all the current stress, worries, insecurities, chaos, and past pains, to simply melt away. They are replaced with laughter, wisdom, kindness, and a deeply rooted spiritual connection.
🍁🍂We began with meeting one another, then yoga in the grass, under the trees, enveloped by sunlight & breezes, and the chatter of squirrels & birds! Then, a beautiful 15 minute guided meditation to ground us, put our mind + body at peace, inviting us to become even more present in the moment. It was beautiful! A 2-mile hike through the forest along the river brought laughter and deeper connection with nature & friends, and discovery of similarities with new friends! The incredible food was organic and locally sourced from nearby farms & wineries! We enjoyed cranberry infused autumn juice, wines, amazing focaccia loaves & gorgeous charcuterie boards of fruits, veggies, sweet meats, crackers, cheese spreads, and honeycomb! Date pumpkin spice balls, and the kale Caesar salad with roasted sweet potatoes and quinoa pumpkin seed croutons was to die for! To finish, a beautiful vegan pumpkin chocolate cheesecake! Our bodies were so nourished, I could this meal everyday!! Our hosts @atlasyogatribe & @yoga_by_naomi , who I practice yoga with, gave us the most gorgeous day!! In a world that moves too fast, make time for friendship, connection, movement, stillness, and feed your body & soul with love!! It’s such a gift!!🍁🤎💛🍂
